THE PROJECT
I made card for a god friend of mine who just got engaged to her college sweetheart. She had a rough first marriage and I couldn’t be happier for her
This card was designed as I went along. I knew I wanted something bold, colorful and some dimension and texture, but I wasn’t sure what it would look like.
Step #1.) I chose the heart flower and stamped several of them in a chain.
Step #2.) Colored flowers in with our Shin Han Twin Markers. The alcohol markers made such a bold rich tone.
Step #3.) I trimmed around just the bottom of the flowers. This is when you want to use your micro tip scissors!
Step #4.) Used the little polka dot cluster stamp to add a background to the top of the flower border.
Step #5 I attached the cut out border to a card base that I had embossed with the chevron embossing folder.
Step #6 Cut around the embossing pattern and attached that.
Added black cardstock, black shimmer tape and the sentiment.
The finishing touches were the red enamel hearts, perfect for the occasion.
Just think! I have 12 more stamps I haven’t even used yet! Make sure you add this set for just $5 when you spend $50 this month.
Hope you enjoyed!
