Sweet Home Kit of the Month

11 / 10 / 09

My Tuesday Creative Escape Club will be making these fancy layouts on Nov. 17th.  I love the use of Top Coats as a photo frame and as a border behind a photograph. I hate to admit, it but this was my least favorite paper pack in the new book. Now that I have worked with it, I have had a complete change of heart. That is why I LOVE the workshop kits each month.  The different products and techniques force me out of my comfort zone.  The crazy part is I had the perfect family photos to go with the color combination.

Did you know you can also make 6 cards in addition to the layouts?  Here I switched up the stamp set and used Snow Flurries to make a holiday card as well.

It is not too late to get your kit today!  Click here and have it delivered right to your door! It will be here just in time for your special family moments!

Blessings-

How can another month be behind us already?  This month we have over 60 consultants participating in the November Stamp of the Month Blog hop.  It is really quite easy to follow along. If you came here from Susan’s Blog you are on the right track.  This month’s stamp “Around the Block” is so warm and inviting. I think you will find it suitable for all sorts of special occassions.
Here is the list my daughter and I brainstormed. I am sure you can think of a ton more.

1. New Home
2. Newlyweds
3. New Member- baby. pet etc..
4. Block Party
5. Christmas Caroling
6. Trick or treating
7. New Kid on the Block
8. New Neighbor
9. Welcome Wagon
10. Moving Sale
11.Welcome Home for a soldier

I chose to make a little gift bag for a new neighbor. You could fill it with homemade cookies or a mini album to celebrate their new home.

Materials I used:
White lunch bag
Garden green Ink and cardstock
Chocolate Ink and cardstock
Barn Red Ink and Cardstock
Green patterned paper from Evensong for bushes
Cuttlebug for texture on roof.

Don’t forget to take advantage of Stampaganza this month and get a FREE stamp set with the purchase of 2 sets.  Thanks for stopping by. Now you are off to Katy’s Blog for some more inspiration.  If you want to start back at the beginning click here to get to Jena’s blog. If you are looking for a consultant, click here.

Super Cute Mini Purse & Gift Tags- November’s Mini Workshop

10 / 29 / 09

November is right around the corner and that means so are the holidays. Hosting a gathering or mini workshop is a great way to get lots of gift ideas while you spend time with your friends.  Mini workshop projects typically take about 45 min. to complete.  Of course it is also Stampaganza so your guests can maximize their qualifying purchases with an additonal free stamp set(s).

Here is the project we are making at Lisa’s mini workshop/party! I know this group is going to love it! I can’t wait! We will use the super cute and whimsical Jingle papers and a variety of stamp sets. So you will get to see a lot of stamps that are featured in the Fall/Winter Idea Book.

Would you like to learn how to make this? Book your mini workshop today!  November hostesses will receive the above stamp set as a gift from me and your guests who spend $40 or more will also receive their own set!  So, what are you waiting for? I hope to see you soon!

Blessings Mini Album

10 / 21 / 09

It is nice to be back after a rotten stomach bug and a full weekend of parties, workshops and my awesome clubs! I finally found some time to get some pictures taken. So, be ready for lots of fun projects this week. I wish I could take credit for this one, but alas…

This album was given to me by my UBER creative CTMH sista, Melissa!  I have been showing this little gem to all of my clubs this week and they are ga-ga for it.  So, I promised I would post the pictures on my blog.  So, here it goes!

Do you see the closure? that is our edge anchors pulled apart and used as 2 separate pieces with blue waxy flax wrapped around the two.
It is a little hard to tell but the inside pages are simply Flip Flaps and Top Coats. Too clever right? If you ordered the Grace Kit of the Month then you already have most of what you need for this kit in your pile of leftovers. (Seriously, you can’t imagine how much paper you have left over after making all those great projects).  But here is a list of what you need anyway.

Complete Supply List

X7117B Grace Level 2 Paper Pack $12.95
X711C Grace Level 2 My Stickease $4.95
z1287 Rustic Edge Anchors $5.95
z1247 Crystal Blue Waxy Flax $3.95
z1211 Top Coats- Framed In $4.95
Z4114- Memory Protectors Flip Flaps $3.95
Please note: The original artist of this project is Anna Jarnagin. She did this with Back Country papers and stickease.  So, you really could make this with any paper pack and My Stickease. That’s what makes CTMH great!
Have a blessed day!

Mummy Family Halloween Treat and Craft

10 / 9 / 0910 / 14 / 15

Mummy Family Halloween Craft and Treat

I have seen many different versions of this sweet Halloween treat. I wanted to make some and was looking for a quick way to do it with items I already had.

  • Sports Tape (did not have gauze and it was already sticky.)
  • 3 different sized candy bars.
  • Googly Eyes
  • Grey Chalk/ink

So, I found some sports tape and simply wrapped it around 3 different size candy bars and added googly eyes.  To give it a more realistic look I added grey chalk around the tape edges.

Did you see the baby mummy hiding behind the pumpkin?  I just love that little guy.  You too?  Now, go make some of your own cute mummies!

Happy Creating-
Sarita
